Ken Thompson – Chief Operations Officer

Ken has been with the C&C team since early 2014. Ken has worn many hats over his time in the industry; Commercial Food Equipment Technician, Heavy Duty Mechanic, Ice Road Trucker, Small Business Owner, licensed Strata Manager and Operations Manager for a large property management firm. Ken was the Director of Operations at C&C for three years prior to being elevated to COO. In 2017, Ken become a full partner at C&C. Sharing a similar view with David on physical activity Ken, along with his wife of 10 years and two boys, love anything sports related.


Mike Beaton – Chief Financial Officer

Mike is a Red-Seal Carpenter by trade and grew a small contracting business operating from his garage to a 100-employee strong force providing services throughout the Lower Mainland in less than 10 years. The desire to provide top-notch service, quality technical skills and support to customers suffering from various property casualties is what has driven his vision forward. Mike is a big believer in mental and physical health, regularly practicing jiu-jitsu and his daily dad duties. Mike spends his time focusing on both his families, Centurion Contracting, now a proud member of the Advantage One Group, and his two young children.


Dave Kallin – Chief Sales Officer

Dave is an Electrician by trade, a businessman by desire. It is that desire that pushed him to get involved in making the electrical mechanical industry more of what he envisioned it should be. Dave believes heavily in mind and body wellness and is an avid Crossfit junkie. Dave has competed at many levels of fitness and adventure competitions. Staying in shape physically has allowed Dave the drive and energy to build C&C to its current status as the number one “Maintenance Done Right” company in the Lower Mainland. Married with two kids, David works hard to balance his time for the two loves of his life, his family and his business.


Garett Thon - Vice President

Garett began his time in the industry as a Fire Protection Technician and Business Development Representative before joining C&C Electrical Mechanical as a Business Development Representative in 2018. His dedication to providing exceptional service to his clients as well as supporting his Team in whatever way possible led to Garett moving up to Business Development Department Head in 2022. Garett continued to grow and strengthen the Business Development Team and was elevated to the role of Vice-President in 2024. Despite his very busy schedule, Garett shares the same interest in physical activity as the rest of the management team and always makes time to share his love of biking, soccer and hockey with his beloved wife, as well as their two sons.

Derek Gullmes – Director of Business Development

Derek is an accomplished executive with a skill set honed through extensive real-world experience. Renowned for his people-centric leadership and commitment to a customer-first approach, Derek has excelled in leadership roles across numerous industries. Derek's dedication extends beyond the business world, where he has extensive leadership experience in community-focused volunteer organizations. With his proven track record in leadership, business development, and community engagement, Derek is a dynamic professional with a history of achieving exceptional results and a passion for making a positive impact through collaborative and strategic initiatives.

Ginny Russell - Director of Corporate Affairs

Ginny joined Centurion Contracting in 2017 in a Human Resources and Administrative role. Using the knowledge and skills gained over the next three years, she grew her role into a division of its own, overseeing Human Resources, Health and Safety, Fleet and Corporate Affairs. A self-starter, her ability to thrive under pressure makes her the right fit for a role that never stops moving.


Jen Marchand – Human Resource Manager

Jen joined the team in 2020 in the humble beginnings of what is now a key component of our Corporate Affairs division. Jen has grown exponentially in her role and now oversees the Human Resources needs for four companies, supporting more than 250 employees. Her warm demeanour, a wealth of knowledge and calm approach make her an invaluable member of the Advantage One family.
